A part of the project "Gemstones - Ready, set, go!" was to draw a stone setting of my own choice. I decided to draw this ring from Ole Lynggaard.
SELF-PORTRAITS
I made the first painting when I was on maternity leave with my daughter.
It means a lot to me, as I was in a period where I had to rediscover myself after having a child.

During the same period, I painted the second painting. I found it very challenging to be on maternity leave and felt very alone. I really wanted free time to pursue my hobbies, such as painting, but it was difficult to find time and establish a new structure in my daily life, especially since I was taking care of our daughter at home for 2 years before she started in daycare.

Two of my paintings have been featured in the commercial for Merrild Coffee, 'Enjoy the present'.
